Focus: Sensory Exploration, Motor Foundations, & Social Play
Designed for our youngest learners, CommunOT Sprouts turns the farm into an interactive sensory classroom. Children build core stability, hand-eye coordination, and emotional regulation through outdoor play, animal interaction, tactile farm tasks, and sensory exploration. It’s the perfect foundation for early social communication and physical confidence.

Focus: Intergenerational Leadership, Empathy, & Real-World Skill Development
True community spans across generations. CommunOT Connections brings children and teens directly into local assisted living facilities for an extraordinary, hands-on leadership experience. Working side-by-side with senior residents, kids practice communication, social awareness, and collaborative problem-solving through joint life-skills projects, storytelling, and shared activities.
This intergenerational bridge empowers kids to step into leadership roles, build deep empathy, and recognize the value of wisdom and community—all while giving residents meaningful, joyful connection. It’s an unforgettable experience where kids build genuine confidence, life skills, and a heart for service.

Focus: Executive Functioning, Community Navigation, & Leadership
Our flagship program for older youth and teens focuses on real-world independence and high-level life skills. Participants step off the farm and into the community—learning to navigate library catalogs, conduct research, solve complex multi-step problems, manage public transit/safety concepts, and present projects to their families. Growth empowers pre-teens and teens to step into leadership, own their unique strengths, and prepare for the real world.

Focus: Outdoor Immersion, Environmental Stewardship, & Practical Life Skills
Step out of the indoor classroom and into the woods, pastures, and garden beds. CommunOT Farm & Forest Explorers gives children and teens the rare space to connect deeply with nature, master hands-on outdoor skills, and build self-reliance in a sensory-rich environment. Guided by our team, explorers learn to observe environmental patterns, care for farm animals, practice outdoor safety, and solve real-world problems as a team. It’s an immersive, movement-rich experience that grounds the body, calms the mind, and fosters a lifelong reverence for the natural world.
Youth Edition (Ages 6–12):
Focuses on foundational outdoor exploration, sensory motor play, basic shelter building, animal interaction, and natural curiosity. Younger explorers build balance, physical resilience, and emotional regulation while learning through dirty hands and big outdoor play.
Teen Edition (Ages 12–18):
Elevates the experience into higher-level wilderness skills, teamwork, and environmental leadership. Teens engage in advanced outdoor projects, orienteering, practical tool safety, farm infrastructure maintenance, and group decision-making—giving them a grounded, screen-free space to build true confidence, independence, and peer connections.
